Porcelain Veneers
Lamina veneers are thin, custom-designed coverings used to aesthetically renew your teeth and perfect your smile. These veneers are ideal for covering stains, cracks, gaps, and minor alignment issues in teeth. Made from high-quality ceramic material, lamina veneers mimic the natural structure and translucency of teeth, ensuring a flawless match with your natural teeth.
Lamina Veneer Process
The treatment begins with a comprehensive consultation. Our dentists assess your needs and create a treatment plan tailored specifically for you. Using digital imaging and 3D modeling technologies, a detailed scan of your teeth is taken, and the lamina veneers are digitally designed to fit you perfectly. This ensures that the veneers provide a perfect fit and maximum comfort during treatment.
Differences Between Zirconium and Porcelain Veneers
There are two main materials we can use for your veneers: Zirconium and Porcelain.
- Zirconium Veneers: Zirconium stands out for its durability and aesthetic properties. Since no metal support is used, it is completely white and allows light to pass through like natural teeth. This gives your teeth a more natural appearance. Zirconium is also highly resistant and is preferred for areas requiring strong chewing, such as the back teeth.
- Porcelain Veneers: Porcelain veneers are thinner and provide excellent results for the front teeth. However, porcelain veneers usually have a metal support, which may cause the gray color of the metal to show in some cases. Although porcelain veneers are more delicate, they give successful results in aesthetically critical areas.
The durability and aesthetic superiority of zirconium veneers provide excellent results for both front and back teeth, while porcelain veneers are more commonly used in aesthetic-focused treatments.
Treatment Process
Minimal intervention is made to your teeth during treatment. Before applying the lamina veneers, a small amount of enamel tissue is removed from the surface of your teeth, helping the veneers to fit naturally with your teeth. Zirconium or porcelain veneers are bonded to your teeth with a strong adhesive, ensuring a long-lasting result.
